FESTIVAL SCHEDULE

SPRING TRAILS - Every April when the Dogwood trees and wildflowers are in bloom, Winnsboro celebrates with a Spring Festival including arts and crafts shows, cookouts, scenic drives, trailride, classic car rally and antique displays.

SUMMER TRAILS - As the nation is celebrating its birthday on July the Fourth, Winnsboro gets into the spirit of the holiday with a host of summer activities. There are watermelon eating contests, singing conventions, patriotic services, olympic size swimming pool parties, good ol-days, sidewalk sales and RV rallies.

AUTUMN TRAILS - Our famous Autumn Trails takes place every year during the entire month of October. In addition to the breathtaking beauty of the changing of the fall foliage, there are ten thousand horsemen, a barn dance, hundreds of antique autos, a historical tour of homes, queen’s coronation, campouts, cookouts and parades. Visitors come from miles around to enjoy the magnificent scenery and partake of all the fun.

WINTER TRAILS - With Christmas on the horizon, Winnsboro celebrates during the entire month of December. Winnsboro is known as the Christmas Tree Capital of Texas. There are several Christmas tree farms where one can take the whole family to select and cut the perfect tree. Ride in an old fashioned wagon to the site where your special tree is growing. On your return, warm up with a welcome cup of spiced tea! During this season, Winnsboro also offers an array of lighted homes, Santa Claus parade, community caroling, nativity scenes, and scores of other seasonal activities for the individual or family.
